It feels like every ninja appearance (both in the background and as a character) is a teaser for a future storyline in which the ninja clan followed O to determine if he is worthy to join the clan, followed by a set of weird tests…
Or, it can all be my imagination…

Well, to make a fair point, he really didn’t know the girl and they weren’t getting along anyway. Hard to ignore an empty stomache at the Best of times but it’s not like the chick was his soul mate or something. It was a blind date for crying in the mud!
But his reply was a bit more diplomatic than mine would have been. I tend to be a bit more abrupt with people I’m not fond of. And pushy manipulative fems like this one… Definitely at the top of that list.
Anyway, I enjoy the comic… And I love the warm up art work, just stunning! Especially the Muerte (I know my spelling is probably off, apologies. what little Spanish I know is rusty.) and the candy skull designs of them. Just beautiful!
