Hooray for sketch nr. 100!
And a great drawing too!
That is one lady I would not like to run into in dark alley.
( . Y . )
The body work is fine, but I think you channeled Nicolas Cage for the face
dirty knees? <3
@Quacthulhu: Not all women are beautiful.
@Quacthulhu: What? She has a face?!?
beauty: its on the INSIDE. im sure shes got a great personality.
Well, I don’t mind the head (although she looks quite a bit frightened, or at least really surprised), what buggers me about the drawing is the arms, the way she has them, It must be quite painfull to maintain that posture (they’re a bit too stretched and away from the body, it seems it would be less strange with them closer to the body, a bit underneath her).
Great drawing though, the feeling it convey is strange, but it sure convey something.
O, although I totally agree on your war against “all fictional women should be pretty”, I think here it’s something else. Pretty or not, you can usually tell a man and a woman’s face apart, because of some specific features. It does happen for a man to have a feminine face, or a woman to have a manly face, but it is quite rare.
This woman definitely has a man’s face. If it’s on purpose, for example to contrast with the “definitely feminine” rest of the drawing, then you nailed it. But if you just drawn her as it came, you may want to look into feminine anatomic features to master the “not pretty but still feminine” aspect.
