I don’t know… Colosal Polar Tesla-Bears? I think somehow it doesn’t mix… Maybe it’s just the way you’ve drawn it but, I imagined them to be more mechanical. Like gigantic white golems, sparkling with power. Besides- if they had real furr wouldn’t it get burned by the lighning with such force? I know it’s a fantasy world, but still- a tiny bit of realism… Enyway- I approve of today’s message- a work of a DM is really about having a single good idea and just floating with it.
Of course it is due to his magic background. Just because there is no flesh and muscles over the bone, does not mean the magic flowing through Elf’s bones release the skin and cappilaries shows up.
Ah the DM hiding notes behind his back…. That Voltibear is merely a well placed distraction, ridiculous enough to overpower the enticement of a conquered foe with the feeling of time spent away from the main questline…
I would love to see the stat block for “Colossal Polar Tesla-Bears” they sound like my kind of monster.

tesla bears…consider the idea stolen
Sorry, you’re too late to steal it, League of Legends has Volibear, a polar bear with lightning powers.
CONFOUND IT
Beautiful first panel, it also reminds me Prince of Persia (Two Thrones) views. Maybe simple, but really nice.

Pure gold for any dm.
i have a question, why do you draw elf’s glove hand as if it still has flesh beneath it?
Volibear?
