COMMISSIONATHLON Day 20 – progress report

Day 20 turned into “a couple of weeks 20″, since as you can see, I sort of went detail-crazy with this commission.
Today and during the weekend I’ll be working some more on this, adding characters and even further detail as I go, but I seriously doubt I’ll be able to finish it before I leave for a week in the US, at the San Diego Comic Con.

Batey looks like he’s wearing a long shirt or a coat or something weird like that. Looks really odd, but funny.
I’d like to make a comment about vegetarians complaining about the taste, look, or smell of meat. I personally find many types of animal products repulsive, and that is my reason for being a vegetarian. However, I only mention this when meat-eaters ask me about it. In fact, I find it extremely annoying when others make a big deal out of my eating preferences as I try to avoid bothering others with them. It’s no different than someone not liking vegetables.

Want to watch an entertaining food show? Try Good Eats. The show is nothing like any other food show, its fun to watch and the recipes are pretty good.. the few I have been able to emulate. It tends to focus on food science a little.
You should watch Bizarro Foods and anything with Anthony Bourdain.
