One of the things I like the most about this COMMISSIONATHLON is that I didn’t just get commissions for RPG characters. I mean, I absolutely love to draw RPG characters and all – but I also got some pretty interesting, unique and sometimes even hilarious concepts to illustrate this time that aren’t what I’d consider to be your average commissioned image.  It’s fun to draw something that makes me laugh.

And so, Day 10 is over and it leaves us with Dim & Wit: The Fairy Brothers. These are actually two good friends of mine that frequent the Texas Renaissance fairs dressed up as… well… fairies. It’s real, you can even check out their Facebook page by clicking here. Both Dim and Wit are not just some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, but also some of the funniest people I’ve ever met, so it was really a pleasure to produce their image.

And also, seriously, you gotta admire a couple of guys that dress up as fairies but still look like they could beat you up, right?

Since both of them seem to have become a recognizable feature in those fairs and such, I also designed a logo for them to use. You can click any of the two thumbnails to view a larger version.
