So day 09 of the COMMISSIONATHLON is through, andf we’ve got ourselves another tattoo design! The client this time (a man by the name of Alex) wanted a composition to would honor those things he considers dearest t him: his city, his family, women, games, skulls and the number 42 (plus a little something extra, if you look carefully).

The design is made so that the central figure of the basilisk goes on the shoulder, with the shield going down the arm and each card going to the chest and back.

As always click the image to view a larger version.

NOTE: The basilisk in this image is based on the actual basilisk statue that Mr. Alex said represents his home town of Basel. I realize it’s probably different from what most gamers would imagine a basilisk looks like, but still. I read around the internet somewhere that back in the middle ages, the basilisk was also known as the “cockatrice”.
