That last panel reminds me of my awkward family hugs….
oh and I love how the ninja has his own little panel this page xD
Awwww… Aren’t they cute?
Looks like a bromance is brewing…
I wonder will anybody stop them… Or…?
Sheesh you guys, get a room already!
Remember, kids: CHARISMA is your dump stat – not Wisdom.
Unlike in real life, it’s a lot better for you in the long run to be ugly than stupid in an RPG.
@y0k41:Actually he’s still in the panel of the fairy but it looks like an other panel because of the structure of the image.
*oh yea we were fighting*
@HappyGuy you might be right, but as GM (or DM if you must), I would try to make sure that there were consequences to having a “dump stat” regardless of what it was.
I thought we had a very obscured, deformed ninja this time – greeny thing behind elf’s bone hand. Fortunately, it’s not true!
*Initiating Sexual Tension*
They way elf and thief keep starting up, it makes me think of brother/sister feud….
@Skeptible: The only real consequence having a dump stat should have is the group switching to a game which does not encourage them.
I’m actually really curious about Elf and Thief’s enmity. It seems to be a fantasy racism thing, but I’m eager to find out the real reason.
Childish though it may be,.
THEY ALL GOT BONES!!!
Sorry, had to be said.
Don’t be ridiculous, they got bonned.
Oh so the art of osteonics was born.
Generally, aside from in a point-buy game, what someone calls a dump stat is usually just a stat irrelevant to their class where they place their lowest stat roll. Thus, trying to “punish”, say a fighter, for dropping an 11 in their intelligence because fighter is not a skill based class, is just unnecessarily cruel.
Raven likes to bite her lip when she’s attacking people. I really like the close-up shots of her and Elf.
O, I find it disturbing that your job is to draw little fairies with huge penis-shaped bones… and that you get paid for it.
You’re what’s wrong with society.
… You’re also what’s good with the Internet.
I feel a romance blossoming!
Why don’t they just kiss already? Oh, and ninja spotted.
@Chris Godsey: I wouldn’t “punish”, but I would make sure that they didn’t get away with ignoring the fact that they had a low stat, regardless of what it was. 11 isn’t really low anyway, that is just average.
I always preferred point-buy games, and those tend to have the temptation to crank down “irrelevant” stats. As a GM, I would just make sure that a player that lowered his INT down to retarded level would have to do stupid things all the time and the character would not be able to take advantage of the player’s understanding of what was going on.
@Skeptible: Gee, you sound like a fun DM to play with…
The fighter with the low int is just going to sit in the tavern in town, because it’s not like his class equips him to do anything other than hit things in combat and drink.
They are such a cute pair in panel 4…
