The game really does become less important with age.
Sure, it’s the reason you meet up, but once you pass the 10 year anniversary in a given gaming group, the reason you stick with those people is that you enjoy their company.
I wouldn’t miss the monthly gaming sessions, and while I look forward to the game itself, it’s become almost secondary to simply spending some time with the guys.
Assuming you don’t end up with a group that skips Game Night the instant it sounds like you’ll be doing something *other than* the usual D&D game.
Rent porn? Someone needs to tell Carlos he’s doing it wrong
window ninja >:D
I am about to hit 30 and have three kids. The latest my body even allows me to stay awake is around 1am. I do get the appeal to pull an all nighter later in life. I spend all of my time at work and with family, don’t get me wrong their an OK bunch, but I need some ME time, ya know? Anyway when I know everyone is off to bed and I get a night of free time I get carried away and want to cram ten tings into a couple hours.. In the end I fall asleep watching 70′s TV shows on Netflix.
i don’t remember if Carlos knows about the internet or not but judging by his arms i would guess not
Try pulling an all night gaming session when you hit your 40′s then come talk to me. My mate and I still manage to every so often. We are heavy gamer’s, that’s how we met and part of what keeps us together.
We know that we will always have someone to game with even when all the other parts of a relationship fall by the wayside, I know I can count on my mate to still give good game.
