Umm yeah, I’m guessing you might have a hard time finding affordable AND nutritious vegetarian food all the time… But look at the bright side: you like cheese! There ought to be plenty of cheese-topped dishes, which I hope can be ordered sans other animal products
(mind you, I’m only guessing here since I’m from Finland and only have a couple of friends who have been there as exchange-students.)
If we weren’t meant to eat animals, then why are they so damn tasty?
Besides, personally I think that between asparagus and chickens, asparagus is the more intelligent species.

@Jaramide: Dead meat is not tasty by itself (you should eat it raw without spices. Really gross for most people) so wouldn’t it be tastier to leave the not-tasty meat away and stick to the actual tasty plants?

Well, to be perfectly honnest, except for most fruits and leaves (salad, spinachs, ….), plants are also rather hard to eat raw, too. Tried to eat raw beans ? Or raw potatoes ?
And no need to add spices to neither plants nor meat (not even salt) for them to be edible or even good

Check out buffet chains as you go, you can usually find things like spinich lasagna, stir fried veggies, and of course soup and salad bars. Also, surprisingly, a lot of steakhouses have really elaborate salad options.
Also, don’t be afraid to exploit your fanbase. I know i, for one, would be happy to bake you a cheesy succotash casserole if you were going to be driving by.
The strip itself is pretty funny, but I don’t think I’ve laughed like I did seeing the final panel. Cowboy Dern and O are awesome. And the horses are fricking hilarious. Monocle and mustached horse, and O’s with a bow. Priceless.

we eat our cows here in Texas. =) there are veggie alternatives pretty much any place. salad…. grill cheese…. salad… lolz
