Is it too late to make jokes about Indiana Jones and the whatever with the Crystal Skull? is it too late to make jokes about Uncharted 2, even? Well if it is, then I guess that’s just too bad. Because I was playing Uncharted 2 this weekend and noticed that they said that line over and over again. Each and every single time I thought to myself “now, where have I heard that before?” And then it hit me, of course! The fourth Indiana Jones movie!
Sure enough, Uncharted is like they took a whole bunch of movies like Indiana Jones and a whole bunch of games like Tomb Raider, mashed them all up together and then polished it until it shined with awesomeness. And yeah, Drake is basically what would happen if Nathan Fillion and Harrison Ford had a love child. And even in spite of it all, I still maintain that the first 3 Indiana Jones movies are as fun and enjoyable as ever. But I found it quite amusing that all I could think of when trying to connect Uncharted 2 to anything for reference was Indiana Jones 4.
Thinking about it, though, I would even dare to say that if I had to decide which one of the four movies has the most in common with the game, I’d probably have to go with the fourth. I say this because I firmly believe that Uncharted 2 is what Indiana Jones 4 should have been.
And yes, again, I realize all these things are old. But yelling “Damn you Shia Lebeouf!” at the top of your lungs never gets old. Try it. I dare you. There is no better stress reliever.

@dzibus87: You’re only halfway right – those are chinese characters (but just because most Kanji come from China), but they propably mean something totally different if you read them in Chinese. “Ninja” is a Japanese word.

ACTUALY the words do read similar to ninja. its nin zhe both on 3 tone if you know what i mean. but i dont know if there is any actual meaning behind it ^^ nin is just “you” when adressing someone older or higher on the social ladder, and zha is used to create a word that says a person that does something.. -ist or -er. like barber, linguist etc. so yeah.. thats that hope i didn’t bore you all to death! =D sory O!
